Evangeline Lilly loves being an elf

…Well not in real life , but in reel one.

During an interview on her yet-to-be-released sci-fi extravaganza The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, the screen siren expressed her fondness for elves.

She admitted that she never had the fanatism for sci-fi. And it was her obsession towards the works of English author, J.R.R. Tolkien, that compelled her to fancy the avatar of an elf.

The fantasy movie will hit the multiplexes by December, next year. And it is after that, we would come to know what justice she had meted to the character of an elf named, Tauriel.

The vivacious actress had a very steep success rate, and it seems that her decision to give up a career in aviation and embrace acting has paid off.

I am sure no adventure lover would miss the option to have Lost download to watch her impeccable performance.

And given the fact that she will be seen on big screen next year in a totally different avatar, it can’t be denied that excitement has become feverish.

Although her role of in the movie doesn’t hold much of significance, it remains to be seen if she could make that work for her good.

The actress during the tête-à-tête also admitted of having a wonderful time on the set of the movie.

Of course, if you can’t love your work, you won’t be able to have fun, which may take a toll on the quality.

Having mentioned, I can assure you that the actress would steal all your attention with the role of an elf in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.

Talking of her career in TV, I don’t find any solid project in her kitty other than Lost. And surprisingly, since the closure of the show last year, she hasn’t signed an small screen project.

Probably she may be eyeing Hollywood as her next destination. I mean to say, she must be trying to consolidate a career in the movies.

All the best for that, girl. I hope, The Hobbit wins it for you!

Josh Holloway Before and After Lost!

When an actor gets the opportunity of starring in a show of such a huge proportion `as ‘Lost’, his life simply gets divided into two parts - the part before he was such a huge star, and the part after he had to find where he stood, after the show was over.

For Josh Holloway, both these parts were of immense significance, each for its own reason.

Before Josh forayed into the world of acting, he wished to be an NBA baller.

And by ‘wished’, we do not simply mean it as a random childish fantasy. Rather, it was a very serious dream, that he pursued with all his heart.

Recalling the time, Josh says that he was very passionate about basketball, and wanted to become a player in the NBA. He says that he believed the coaches, when they said that he could be anything that he wished to be. He reminisces about how hard he practiced, and gushes about how good he was as a player.

Even though he got a chance of playing on the varsity team, Josh says that he never actually played, because the bigger players would beat him up.

He then realized that he was having no fun and was simply getting worn out, and his grades at school were also suffering.

He then shifted focus to soccer, and finally to acting.

Cut to part 2 of the story - life after ‘Lost’.

But before that, it’s only fair that you tune in to a couple of Lost episodes, and pay a special tribute to the division between both these phases.

Josh reveals that now that ‘Lost’ is over, he isn’t yet ready to take up any full-time roles, and would rather spend time with his two-year old daughter, Java, and wife Yessica Kumala.

Talking of fatherhood, Josh describes it as an overwhelming feeling, and says that he has never before felt so much love, that it hurts.

Awwww! How cute is that!

He describes life post-Lost as both “great” and “trippy”, saying that he misses working hard on the sets of the show and doing what he loved.

We can’t wait to see him soon in another major role!

Nestor Carbonell Praises Lost!

It’s been a long time, since the series Lost, put its final episodes on air.

But it seems that the memories of the show are still fresh in our minds.

If you think that it’s only you, who is keeping a hold on the old memories of the series, then think again!

We have someone else too, joining the same queue.

And that someone else is, none other than our star from the series Lost, Nestor Carbonell.

Yup! The same actor, whose pictures you love to download.

The actor is now working in a new series, Ringer, as Victor Machado, an agent with the FBI, and this apparently, reminds him of the role he did in Lost.

The actor says that working in Lost was one of the best gifts he could ever have had.

Ah! That’s so endearing!

Nestor also mentioned that it was during his stint on Lost that he could groom himself personally as well as in terms of creativity.

Amazing!

I have never seen an actor praising his series so out righty!

Though the actor is now playing an FBI agent, but by no way, is he able to detach himself from the memories of Lost.

It seems that I should rather ask him to watch Lost online, and feel calm.

LOL!

Though the actor loves the storyline that Ringer has, and he thinks that it’s quite thrilling, the memories from his past are yet unmatched!

His co-star in Ringer is Sarah Michelle Gellar, with whom Nestor seems to be working quite happily.

And you know what!

The actor simply loved the series Lost so much, that, every time he reads the next episode script of Ringer, it brings in him back the same curiosity that he used to have on the sets of Lost.

I wish Nestor does amazingly well in this series too, the same way he did on Lost!

A good show would not only be about its concept and story, but also the actors portraying the characters. The elements of intelligent depiction of the characters and story that would appeal to the maximum number of audience member, is in its first course only!

And one such show is Person of Interest!

The show that saw its first run recently in September does not only have a captivating story line but also have actors with great substance, dramatizing the intriguing characters flawlessly.

The show has all the desirable ingredients of excellent characterization, and the ever so engaging presentation of its script, packed with drama, elements of thrill and a stimulating plot.

The men behind the success of the show have the same lineage, as they share the epic show, Lost.

The protagonist of the series, Michael Emerson portrayed the manipulative and clever head of the Others, the inhabitants of the mysterious land in the JJ Abrahams created blockbuster series Lost.

Watch Lost online to get to know this absorbing character and Abrahams’ classic creation.

The Emmy award winning actor portrays the role of an affluent computer programmer in JJ Abraham’s newest project, ‘Person of Interest’, where he is seen working, to prevent violent crimes in the New York City.

Joining the cast, is Jim Caviezel as a former CIA agent.

The new series, which has attained a time slot for a full season on CBS recently, was able to intrigue its audiences with its enthralling pilot episode, which broke the records, as it acquired the highest test ratings amongst all the pilot dramedies in 15 years!

The awe inspiring episode appealed to a record breaking 13.2 million viewers and succeeded in accomplishing a primetime time slot, on one of the best television networks.

Matthew Fox Out Of Felony Charges!

Matthew Fox, the actor who played the leader, Jack Shephard, in the action drama series Lost, has come under the sway of some felony charges, after he allegedly hit a female bus driver with his fist.

Yikes!

The actor was detained and handcuffed three weeks back for the alleged assault. But after a thorough review of the facts, he has been set free of the charges and the prosecutors have decided not to press any indictments against him.

Ms. Bormann, the woman who brought up the case against the actor, told the police that Fox punched her numerous times in the chest, belly, and groin, after she didn’t allow him to board the private party bus she was driving.

The lady also confirmed that the actor was reeking liquor, while he indulged with her in a physical fight.

Well, it was not only the lady driver who got injuries in that incident, but the actor too was beaten by Ms. Bormann. Apparently, she too fought back and punched Fox on his mouth and causing his lips to bleed severely.

Though the police came at the right moment, detained, and handcuffed Fox, he was taken back to the hotel after spending just a few hours in the lock-up.

While Ms Bormann, a single mother of three, is demanding a compensation of US $25,000 from the actor, prosecutors have denied pursuing the charges and the actor has been set free.

I’m just not unable to understand, what should we call it? Is it miscarriage of justice; or has star power won again?

Things are still too complicated to understand!

We wonder if Ms. Bormann was being truthful or has she taken back her claims. Or is it that the actor has bribed the authorities to take the decision in his favor?

Who knows!

Nothing can be said, until we get more to watch and hear more on this issue!

Anyway, you can enjoy a more somber aspect of Matthew by availing a Lost download.

Lost Alumnus Joins The Cast Of ‘Ringer’

Looking for a show completely different and out-of-the ordinary?

Then brace yourself to follow the upcoming thriller, ‘Ringer’.

Nestor Carbonell, the actor, who shot to fame through his fulgent job in the cult hit TV series, Lost, has now jumped to another tableau with the same DNA.

Yeah, the ageless advisor Richard Alpert of ‘Lost’ has slipped into the shoes of a similarly intense character on the new TV series, Ringer.

Nestor is playing FBI agent, Victor Machado, whose key witness, Bridget Kelly, dons the identity of her twin sister, Siobhan, only to learn that faking her death doesn’t derive a solution to her problems.

Interestingly, Nestor is not playing a squeaky clean FBI guy; instead, his role involves a really dark and intriguing face that will keep the audiences on tenterhooks.

Well, it’s the serialized nature and thriller aspect of the show that appealed to the actor.

He’s more than ecstatic about grabbing a role, which has been kept a secret from him till now!
Yes, the actor revealed that he has not been provided with the entire script. Rather, a little bit has been revealed to him, and he himself is quite excited to witness the future aspects of his character.

An agent, who has skeletons in his closet, has definitely some secrets tagged along, but what those are all about, only the creators know.

Well, that sounds interesting!

I hope that Nestor will be successful enough to leave an impact over the audiences with his comeback to primetime, though after a much shorter hiatus than many others!

While to catch up with the oh-so-gripping juicy thriller show, you’ve to wait to watch The Ringer. But here’s something you can do in the meantime - download Lost, so that you can make most of your wait by reveling in the brooding quality of Nestor’s character, Richard Alpert!

Jeremy Davies Bags His First Emmy Nomination!

Hey there guys!

I bring you good tidings!

And if you happen to be fans of Lost series, well, let the celebrations begin.

Or shall I let you wonder for a moment what Jeremy Davies, who plays the role of physicist Daniel Faraday in the super hit series Lost, is up to these days?

Well, he is basking in the glory of his first Emmy nomination!

And if his acting chops are anything to go by, we say rightly so, isn’t it?

Davies has earned his nomination for the show ‘Justified’ in the category of ‘Best Guest Actor in a Drama Series’.

But he is facing stiff competition from all corners and those in the running include Michael J. Fox, who is looking for his sixth award this year.

A veteran, we say!

Well, let’s hope Jeremy Davies is first time lucky and wins the award.

Guys, lets cheer him on! It would be great if his first nomination fetches him the award too.

But award or no award, what we can be really be certain of, is that he is in a very good space right now.

To boast of series like Lost and ‘Justified’ in one’s repertoire!

Boy, isn’t that an achievement in itself?

And while the Lost episodes have been hugely popular and have always garnered rave reviews, we are hoping that ‘Justified’ does the trick for Jeremy Davies.

What say people?

Oh and let me tell you, there is plenty of speculation in the air about who is going to bag the award this time. Would Michael J. Fox be too stiff a competition to beat? There is another hurdle too, in the form of Paul McCrane, who also has a very good chance.

Well, let’s keep our fingers crossed and wish Jeremy Davies success!

Why is Terry O’Quinn All Gung-Ho?

When somebody praises another person’s sense of professionalism, one thing becomes clear - the person, who is showering all the goodies, knows the guy on the opposite side really well.

Sounds a bit puzzling, doesn’t it?

Well, let me clear off the confusion!

Daniel Dae Kim, who already plays a role in Hawaii Five-O, uttered several words of admiration, when he came to know that one of his Lost co-stars, Terry O’Quinn, has been roped in for new episodes.

Even though nothing has been revealed about the character of Terry, we only know that he would be seen as Navy Seal Lt. Commander.
What I am interested in, is the tell-a-tale of a reunion!

There can’t be an iota of doubt that both the stars had some good times on the sets of the smash hit mystery adventure drama. And,  Hawaii Five-O could be seen as a platform for them, to take a stroll down memory lane and laugh their hearts out, remembering some funny instances.

Hawaii Five-O will have its season premiere in September, after which, all of you will be able to catch a glimpse of both the actor together. However, if you wish to do that right now, then watch Lost online.

In case, you like some moments a little more than others, then go for the download of the same as well.

Lost had a massive star cast on-board, and it’s interesting that the star cast is getting another chance to work together.

I mean, all the stars who were associated with the show were not just talented, but had their own ability of alluring the fans. And it’s quite obvious that majority of the TV series producers must have their eyes on that bunch of ‘ripe grapes’.

However, I would still tag Terry and Daniel to be lucky, because they met once again in a show, which has some adrenaline-rushing action like Lost.

But the scenario would be completely different for Terry, as he would be performing in a police procedural show that looks out for criminals, and is not centered on a group of plane crash survivors, jostling against all the obstacles, in an unknown place.

Good luck guys!

Will L. Scott Caldwell Be Able To Impress Fans With Her Guest Performance in CSI?

I am sure, you guys are aware of the news that actress L. Scott Caldwell will be making a guest appearance in the ongoing season of the hit police procedural show, ‘CSI’.

Now that the episode featuring the actress is going to be aired very soon, speculations are gathering speed, as to whether she would be able to steal the limelight or not.

If we talk about her experience in the TV industry, L. Scott Caldwell is someone who shares the privilege of appearing in innumerable hit shows, including ‘Grey’s Anatomy’, ‘The Secret Life of the American Teenager’, ‘Saving Grace’, ‘Judging Amy’ and others.

Quite a gem, I should say!

Want to know about the character that she will be playing in ‘CSI’?
If so, then read on.

L. Scott Caldwell will be seen playing the important character of Mrs. Parkes, the mother-in-law of detective Langston, played by Laurence Fishburne.

I am really interested to find out how she performs in the company of a star like Laurence Fishburne!
Undoubtedly, her stint in Lost was incredible, and the fact that many of her fans would love to watch Lost online, is in itself, a proof of the fact that how popular the show and she were.

But, the crux of the matter is, how well she will be able to utilize her experience, while playing the guest role of Mrs. Parkes.

I guess, everything will come clear, once that particular episode of CSI gets officially released.
The character of Rose Henderson, played by the actress in Lost, won many a hearts! I won’t be surprised if someone opts for a download of the episodes featuring her.

Well, before that episode of CSI is released, I would like to wish her all the best, and hope that she won’t disappoint her fans, even in a guest role.

Lost alum Matthew Fox all geared up for big screen project after three years

Yeah, you read that right, the actor who stunned you in the shoes of Dr. Jack Shephard in the hit series, Lost, will be seen in a big screen project after a gap of nearly three years.

Matthew Fox has been roped in for a role in the movie called I, Alex Cross, which will be directed by Rob Cohen of The Fast and the Furious movie fame.

The upcoming movie is an adaptation of the Alex Cross series of novels by James Patterson. Matthew will play the bad guy in the movie, and I am sure it’s going to be as entertaining as his heroics in the Lost TV show.

Matthew will don the role of a ruthless assassin named Michael Sullivan, who will be seen in a killing spree in the movie, that too for money. Matthew’s character will cause the main conflict, when he will kill Alex Cross’ (Tyler Perry) wife.

The 44-year-old star soared to fame for playing the character of Jack Shephard. And after the completion of Lost, he made an announcement of bidding adieu to the small screen.

His last big screen project was Speed Racer which did good business at the box office in 2008. Now that he will be returning to the silver screen, there will tremendous flurry of expectation from all corners.

I am pretty sure that his long-term experience with Lost will help him to play the negative role of Michael Sullivan perfectly. Even though there can’t be any comparison between the roles he played in action-adventure based TV shows and the one that he’s going to play in the movie, we can be sure that he’s once again going to leave his fans spellbound.
