Elizabeth Mitchell, an American actress, is best known throughout the TV world for her portrayal of Dr. Juliet Burke on hot TV drama ‘Lost’.

Mitchell took birth in Los Angeles, California. Her parents are lawyers based in Dallas. In 1970, their family moved to Dallas, Texas. She joined Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and graduated from the same. She has two siblings, Kristie, seven years younger, and Kate, twelve years old younger. In 1991, Elizabeth Mitchell earned Bachelor of Fine Arts from Stephens College. She also worked for Dallas Theatre Centre for over six years and also spend one year at Encore Theater.

She was also seen in the 2000-2001 season of ER, portraying a recurring role of Dr. Kim Legaspi, the first lesbian lover of Dr. Kerry Weaver.

On June 13 2004, Elizabeth Mitchell married Chris Soldevilla, an actor. The couple has a son, Christopher Joseph (C.J), born on September 4, 2005. As of now, they’re living on Bainbridge Island, Washington.
