The ‘highly anticipated and shocking finale’ has been planned for our very favorite TV show ‘Lost’.
Fifth season of ‘Lost’ came to an end on May 13, 2009 with the season finale entitled ‘The Incident’. And, Lost has nothing more than the sixth season in its bag. Making the sentence clear, Lost would be over after the sixth season and it has been officially confirmed by ABC Entertainment President Stephen McPherson. McPherson said, “Lost will end during the 2009-2010 season with a “highly anticipated and shocking finale.” We felt that this was the only way to give Lost a proper creative conclusion”. The fifth season of show had 17 episodes and its going to be the same for the sixth season.
Well, wrapping up Lost would not be a piece of cake for the writers and producers. Long stories intertwined with each other need to be sorted out before tying their loose ends, but how. No body knows except may be the minds behind the creation of Lost.
Talking about the same, Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse gave some hints about the end of the show. Cuse says, “The end of the show will be a combination of trying to answer mysteries the audience still cares about, such as the statue and the Smoke Monster”. Adding more, they said that attempts are being made to answers the questions which are important and central to the plot of the show. It’s not necessary that all your ‘questions‘ would be part of the list prepared by the creators. Consider yourself lucky, if you get answers to the questions that intrigue you..
The sixth season of Lost is scheduled to be aired from Feb-May 2010. And, the most surprising revelation is that only Matthew Fox among the cast of Lost’ knows that ‘Lost’ is near to its end.
