The ‘highly anticipated and shocking finale’ has been planned for our very favorite TV show ‘Lost’.

Fifth season of ‘Lost’ came to an end on May 13, 2009 with the season finale entitled ‘The Incident’. And, Lost has nothing more than the sixth season in its bag. Making the sentence clear, Lost would be over after the sixth season and it has been officially confirmed by ABC Entertainment President Stephen McPherson. McPherson said, “Lost will end during the 2009-2010 season with a “highly anticipated and shocking finale.” We felt that this was the only way to give Lost a proper creative conclusion”.  The fifth season of show had 17 episodes and its going to be the same for the sixth season.

Well, wrapping up Lost would not be a piece of cake for the writers and producers. Long stories intertwined with each other need to be sorted out before tying their loose ends, but how. No body knows except may be the minds behind the creation of Lost.

Talking about the same, Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse gave some hints about the end of the show. Cuse says, “The end of the show will be a combination of trying to answer mysteries the audience still cares about, such as the statue and the Smoke Monster”. Adding more, they said that attempts are being made to answers the questions which are important and central to the plot of the show. The sixth season of Lost is scheduled to be aired from Feb-May 2010. And, the most surprising revelation is that only Matthew Fox among the cast of Lost’ knows that ‘Lost’ is near to its end.

I know many of you would shake your head to say ‘no’. In fact, just two days ago, I was also one of you, ignorant about the beauty and wonders of the places where our very favorite TV show ‘Lost‘ is being shot. As series has reached to its fifth season, it’s kinda tardy to come to know about all this now. Anyways, I won’t let you get more late so gonna tell you what you would surely be interested to know about, if you are a huge fan of Lost TV show.

Well, Hawaiian island of Oahu is the place where cutting edge technology based Panavision 35 mm cameras shot almost all episodes of series. Yes, yes, I know many of you would say that the locations were different in the pilot episode of series. Actually, it was because the scenes of series opener were shot near the northwest tip of the island, at Mokulē’IA Beach. Beach locations are of the famous North Shore. The decision to bring diversity in the scenes of the episodes made the creators to find new and new locations to get the scenes shot. Taking it near to reality, all the cave scenes were filmed at a sound stage constructed at a Xerox part warehouse. It was not enough, to bring variety the sound stage and production offices were next moved to Hawaii Film Studio to film some episodes of the second and third season of series.

And, now the very surprising fact, the crew of ‘Lost’ never went to other countries to film the scenes. All the different regions of the world shown on the series- most notably Iraq, Nigeria, United Kingdom, South Korea, Paris, Thailand, New York, Iowa, Miami, California, Berlin and Australia- are actually the urban parts surrounding Honolulu. Their creativity is awesome and only those people can tell how to shoot the scenes of Sydney Airport at the Hawaii Convention Centre.

Isn’t the title of the post pretty confusing? Yeah… it’s if you didn’t watch the season opener episode of fifth season of ‘Lost’ TV show. You know what I best like about Lost is that its bag is always full of surprises. Four years have passed since ‘Lost’ premiere and it still has the guts to make me surprised! Throughout the run of series, we’ve been so familiar with the characters and the storyline and the Island also, but still every episode makes me realize that I am nothing more than a newbie! Cool man…

As we all know, Lost has begun its journey with fifth season, after ruling the ABC Network for four successful seasons. Opening the new season was the episode entitled ‘Because You Left’… the way I entitled my post! Wholly, it was the eighty fourth episode of the show. Okay, let’s go and have a review:

In this episode, we saw that the remaining survivors of the Island started feeling the effects of the backwashes of moving to the island. Meanwhile, Jack and Ben began their pursuit to reunite Oceanic 6. Their intentions were to return to the island with Locke’s body in order to save their fellow castaways. This episode was aired on January 21, 2009 and received 13.316 million American viewers. ‘Because You Left’ really gave a finicky start to ‘Lost’ season 5 and I guess, upcoming episodes would surely follow the trend set by the season opener.

Well, as much I know about the ‘Lost’ season 5 is that the season would follow two timelines. The first would take place on the Island where we would see the remaining survivors unpredictably jumping through time and the second would take place off the island.

It was nice to see that the show has begun with a bang…. Things have been reinvented and storyline is adjusting very well with the theme of time-traveling. Hey buddies….. Lost is back with a brand new and very promising season… Don’t miss any of the upcoming episodes of ‘Lost’ Season 5!

When only few days are left to watch the premiere of the fifth season of ‘Lost TV Show’, I am busy in searching latest updates about the stars of the show. And, the one I got is about Daniel Dae Kim. Okay, not making you to think more, I am gonna reveal it. Daniel Dae Kim is going to join a new, fully-staged arena production of ‘The King and I’ along with Maria Friedman. It’ll be performed at the Royal Albert Hall and performances will begin June 12, 2009. Well, I am happy to hear the news as Daniel Dae Kim is my personal favorite among the star cast of ‘Lost’.

The day when ‘Lost’ was premiered, I was not sure how long it’d go. And, they did a great job making it run for five consecutive seasons. ‘Lost’ was made into a mysterious drama using a number of mysterious elements in the episodes. It’s very intelligently planned drama and you can never come to know what’s behind what. All this induces us to watch more and more so that we can find out the truth hidden under the white curtain. Supernatural kind of stuff on ‘Lost’ is the basis of fan speculation. Adding mythological stuff are the following elements- a monster that roams on Island, ‘The Others’, a mysterious inhabitants of the Island, and DHARMA Initiative, a baffling Organization with several research stations on the Island and the list goes on!

Mystery never ends on ‘Lost’ and the ones who’ve watched it from beginning know better. All episodes are of two main parts- first part deals with a primary storyline on the Island and the second part deals with a secondary storyline from characters’ life. ‘Lost’ received huge response from fans during its first season itself and each episode of first seasonof ‘Lost’, received an average of 16 million viewers per episode. I think, it’s only one show which has received such kinda response from audience.

And I guess things will get even more fantastic during this upcoming season and that’s’ why I am curiously waiting for the show which has innumerous folds of mystery!

I am a devoted fan of Lost and can’t have enough of it. There are such layers and layers of narration that viewing it once is just not good enough for me. I recently read something on Buddy TV that I must share with you guys. Henry Ian Cusick is coming back in the next season of the lost as Desmond. Now this really took me by surprise. I did not expect to see him again. After all in last season he was finally reunited with his lady love Penelope Widmore and all lose ends were tied up pretty neatly.

I guess its time to watch again the last season and I am going to download it from here. There could be some thing that I had missed. Anyway it’s always a pleasure to watch the episodes of Lost again and again. My friends and I spent entire evening yesterday speculating the circumstances under which Desmond could return in the next season of Lost.

However I am pretty sure that Desmond can not come back if everything was hunky dory. Why the hell he would do that? May be Penny disappears or he is made to come back under some duress but for sure it would be not on happy terms.

I am any day more interested in those who were left back on the island. Till the new season starts after 5 months I am going to watch the old episodes here.

All Losties carry on looking for the newer updates about Lost. But only a few like me get a bit about the show. As usual today too I was looking for some thing new about the coming season and I found out something from Buddy TV about the series. The trailers of new season of ‘Lost’ have been shown over there recently and reports say that, there will be a little change in the storyline now.

Now the storyline will move between flash backs and flash forwards. Means, now there will be less of real world and a more of the fantasy world. All the people on Island are now fed up of staying there for such a long time and are looking for a way out, after such struggle and bizarre experiences. So now they will be lost in their past lives. And a few optimistic people will be busy in planning for their future after getting out of there. It may seem a little monotonous, but as per the buddy reports there will be logical progression of each story.

I am trying to be optimistic towards the idea and let’s see if it generates some entertainment. I am not very enthusiastic about this idea though. I was expecting that this time Losties would find a way of getting out of island and after returning to their homes they would tell different stories to their families and friends about their terrible experiences on that island. Or may be on the island itself they reach a new and unexplored place, which they find better than the outer world and a few characters decide to stay there forever. Then I could say that the story has acquired a new flavor.

But still I like the ‘Lost’ series in its present form so I won’t be devastated by this story line also. I am just waiting to watch what happens to everybody left on the island.
