Afterwards when the flight crashed, Locke got alive. Other survivors of the plane questioned this but in the meantime found Ben wounded.
Then in a flashback, it was shown that Locke was helped by Charles Widmore and Matthew Abaddon in his mission to join up Oceanic Six and after that Ben murdered Locke.
