In this episode, Juliet tries her level best to treat Ben (who was shot by Sayid), but finally gave up, as she was obstetrician. When she asked for help from Jack (a neurosurgeon), he refused as he was aware of what Ben does in the future. They finally took Ben to Richard, who makes everyone aware of the fact that if he treats him, then Ben won’t be same afterwards. He also says that it is also possible that Ben may also forget all what happened with him due to the treatment.
Then in the flashback, it was shown that Kate makes up her mind to return mind and leave Aaron under the surveillance of his grand mother.
